Our topic this half term is “Look-Hear” which follows on nicely from last half term's 'Being Human' topic. We are focusing on the senses of sight and hearing, looking at light propagation, how sound travels and how both can be considered energies. Some amazing homework has arrived into school, which is looking fantastic on our display!
The children have progressed really well in their writing; their written pieces are a pleasure to read. This half term, one of our texts is 'Grandpa’s Great Escape', as we use the idea of escaping from somewhere or something as a stimulus for building atmosphere in a text. No doubt the children will, yet again, produce some interesting and exciting pieces of writing.
PE – Our PE days are still Monday and Wednesday. Children must have their full school kits to be fully engaged in these sessions.
HOMEWORK – Homework continues to be handed out each Friday and is due in by the following Wednesday.
Many thanks for your continued support.
