Over the Easter holiday, our butterflies hatched from their cocoons so we were lucky enough to be able to set them free when we got back to school. It was wonderful to watch them change!
Our topic this half term is 'Transport', so we are learning everything there is to know about different types of transport! We're looking closely at the different vehicles people use and how they help us to get to different places.
With the weather hopefully getting a bit nicer over the next few weeks, please make sure your child has a sunhat and sun cream (both named) in their bag for the hot and sunny days. Our playground can be a bit of a suntrap, so let’s make sure our children are protected from the heat.
While you're here, take a look at some of the pictures of us on our recent visit to Stockley Farm...
Don’t forget that our home-school books can also be used as scrap books to record any special moments, events, trips, discoveries etc which your child would like to share with us.
Reading books will continue to be sent home each week. Please keep reading with your child – it really beneficial. Remember, too, to keep reading the high frequency words - we’re seeing lots of progress with these!
