It is important to us that all of our children become digitally-literate, with a secure understanding of computer science to prepare them for their future life and work in a constantly evolving world. In addition to learning how to use computers and other digital devices, they learn to create their own programs, systems and digital content.
E-safety is given a considerable focus throughout school, to ensure that the children understand the importance of safe and responsible use of information and communication technology.
The children in each class have a weekly Computing lesson with Mrs Jackson, and class teachers also provide opportunities for children to apply their computing skills in class, for real-life purposes, across the curriculum.
